The JustMarkets great anniversary trading contest ran from June 1 to July 31, 2026. This guide covers the prize tiers, eligibility rules, lot thresholds and how winners were selected and paid.
The JustMarkets Great Anniversary Trading Contest was a two-month competition that ran from June 1 to July 31, 2026, with 85 winners sharing gold and cash prizes. Traders could qualify through a leaderboard that guaranteed rewards for the top 15 places, a Final Lucky Draw, or weekly draws. The contest has now closed, so this guide works as a reference for how the great anniversary trading promotion was structured, who could take part, and what winners had to do to claim their rewards.

Before reading further, note that the contest is over. If you are looking for details on a future JustMarkets promotion, check the official JustMarkets website for current terms rather than relying on this page. For background on the broker itself, see our JustMarkets review.
JustMarkets designed the contest to reward both new and existing clients. Anyone with an eligible live account could take part, regardless of when they joined the platform. The broker positioned the event as a way to recognise active traders during its anniversary period.
Rewards came in two formats: physical gold or cash equivalents. Winners in the top tiers could choose between receiving gold or the monetary value instead. The contest combined three prize mechanisms, so traders could earn a reward through strong trading volume, through chance, or both.
The prize distribution covered 85 winners in total. The table below lists each tier as it was published, with cash values in USD.
| Winner group | Number of winners | Prize per winner |
|---|---|---|
| Ranks 1 to 3 (leaderboard) | 3 | 20 grams of gold or $3,000 USD |
| Ranks 4 to 8 (leaderboard) | 5 | 10 grams of gold or $1,500 USD |
| Ranks 9 to 15 (leaderboard) | 7 | 5 grams of gold or $700 USD |
| Final Lucky Draw, Tier 1 (100+ lots) | 10 | $1,000 USD |
| Final Lucky Draw, Tier 2 (50 to 99 lots) | 10 | $500 USD |
| Final Lucky Draw, Tier 3 (10 to 49 lots) | 10 | $300 USD |
| Weekly Lucky Draw (8 weeks, 5 per week) | 40 | $200 USD |
The itemised cash values add up to roughly $47,400 before any gold is counted. That is lower than the "over $100,000" figure used in earlier promotional material for this contest. If you need an exact prize pool figure for reporting or comparison, refer to the official contest terms on the JustMarkets website rather than to the headline number.
The structure gave participants several routes to a prize. Traders who did not reach the top 15 on the leaderboard could still qualify for a lucky draw, provided they met the relevant volume or eligibility conditions.
Participants had to be persons who could form binding contracts under applicable law. The contest excluded minors, meaning anyone under 18 or below the legal age of majority in their country of residence.
Both existing clients and new traders could take part. Existing clients with active accounts qualified without extra steps, while new traders could register one or more trading accounts to enter. The key condition was that the account had to be a live account funded with real money.
JustMarkets limited participation to three live account types:
Demo accounts were excluded, so all trading counted toward the competition took place under real market conditions with actual capital at risk. All three live account types had equal standing, so the choice of account did not affect eligibility.
Each registered account had to hold at least $100 USD in deposits. The deposit had to come from an external source. Internal transfers between your own accounts, such as moving funds from a Standard account to a Pro account, did not count toward the requirement. The system blocked registration for accounts that had not met the threshold.
Registration took place inside the JustMarkets Personal Area, with no separate application form. Participants went to the Benefits section, selected the trading account they wanted to use, and entered a nickname. That nickname identified them on the leaderboard and in public rankings.
Only one trading account per participant could enter the great anniversary trading contest. Registering multiple accounts to increase your chances was not permitted. Once chosen, the account was fixed for the full contest period, so you could not switch accounts mid-contest.
When picking an account, it made sense to use the one where you already had the most activity or where your strategy felt most comfortable. Because the same account had to be used throughout, consistency mattered more than the account type itself.
The contest measured activity in universal lots. One universal lot equals 100,000 USD in trading volume, and both opened and closed positions counted. The standard applied across all instruments, but the volume generated by one universal lot varies by instrument because contract sizes and prices differ.
As an example from the contest rules, opening and closing a deal for 1 lot (100 contracts) of XAUUSD generated approximately 265,000 USD in volume. This is why the same lot count can translate into very different volumes depending on what you trade.
Two separate volume thresholds applied:
Because the weekly threshold reset each week, consistent activity across the eight weeks was needed to stay eligible for weekly draws. A large trade in one week did not carry over to qualify you for the following week.
The top 15 positions were determined by total lots accumulated during the contest. The leaderboard was updated daily on the JustMarkets website and showed cumulative points under each participant's nickname. Ranks 1 to 3 received 20 grams of gold or $3,000 USD, ranks 4 to 8 received 10 grams of gold or $1,500 USD, and ranks 9 to 15 received 5 grams of gold or $700 USD. No random selection applied to these positions, so placement depended entirely on trading activity.
The Final Lucky Draw divided participants into three tiers by cumulative volume: 100 lots or more (Tier 1), 50 to 99 lots (Tier 2), and 10 to 49 lots (Tier 3). Each tier produced 10 winners. Winners were chosen at random using the Wheel of Fortune, a digital randomizer tool, after the contest closed on July 31. Within a tier, trading more did not improve your odds, since every participant in that tier was treated the same.
Each week, five winners were selected from qualified participants, each receiving $200 USD. The draw ran every Tuesday for participants who met the 3-lot minimum during the previous Monday to Sunday period. Every eligible client had an equal chance of winning, regardless of how many lots they traded. A participant could win in multiple weeks but could not win twice in the same weekly draw.
This equal-chance design means a trader who met the 3-lot minimum had the same probability of winning as someone who traded far more that week.
Winning was only the first step. Winners had to meet several conditions before receiving a reward:
Payment timing depended on the prize type. Weekly and Final Lucky Draw prizes were credited to the participating trading account within 10 business days. TOP-15 prizes, whether gold or cash equivalent, were sent or credited within 45 days after JustMarkets received the winner's confirmation and response. The longer window reflected the physical delivery of gold and the processing of larger amounts.
Money prizes could be traded or withdrawn once credited, with no restriction on either option.
The JustMarkets Great Anniversary Trading Contest combined leaderboard rewards, a Final Lucky Draw and weekly draws across a two-month period. Its main lessons for traders reviewing similar promotions are:
Trading promotions can encourage more activity, and that activity carries risk. Leveraged trading can lose money quickly, so only trade with funds you can afford to lose. Before opening any account with a broker, review its regulation, fees and trading conditions.
According to the broker, JustMarkets has been operating since 2012 and serves traders in over 190 countries. It states that it keeps client funds segregated and offers negative balance protection. Check the current regulatory details on its website and in our JustMarkets review before opening an account.
Each registered account needed at least $100 USD in external deposits. Internal transfers between your own accounts did not count toward this requirement.
For the Weekly Lucky Draw, you needed at least 3 universal lots in a given Monday to Sunday week. For the Final Lucky Draw, you needed at least 10 universal lots across the whole contest, from June 1 to July 31, 2026.
Weekly and Final Lucky Draw prizes were credited to your trading account within 10 business days. TOP-15 prizes, in gold or cash equivalent, were sent or credited within 45 days after JustMarkets received your confirmation and response.
No. Only one trading account registered by you could take part, and it had to remain the same account for the entire contest. Registering several accounts to increase your odds was not permitted.
