JustMarkets is a Forex and CFD broker that has operated since 2012. Formerly known as JustForex, the brand now offers CFDs on currency pairs, metals, energies, indices, shares and cryptocurrency, with MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 as its main trading platforms. This JustMarkets review covers regulation, account types, costs, deposits, bonuses and support, so you can judge whether the broker fits your trading style.
JustMarkets Overview
The broker's history is worth understanding before you open an account. For years, the brand operated mainly through offshore entities. After the rebrand, JustMarkets added stronger oversight by obtaining licences from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) in South Africa and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC). That shift has improved how many traders view its trustworthiness, although the level of protection still depends on the entity you register with.
Our data classifies JustMarkets as an STP, ECN and market maker hybrid, and our editorial rating for the broker is 5.00 out of 5. The broker states that it accepts clients from more than 160 countries and reports over 2 million clients. Those figures come from the broker itself, so treat them as company-reported rather than independently verified.
JustMarkets Regulation and Safety
JustMarkets holds or lists licences from several regulators, including the FSCA, CySEC, the FSA and the FSC. Each regulator sets its own rules on how brokers must handle client funds, leverage and conduct. Because the licence depends on the legal entity you sign up with, the rules that apply to your account may differ from those for a client in another region.
Based on the broker's published information, JustMarkets uses several standard safety measures:
- Segregated client funds, kept separate from company money
- Negative balance protection, which is designed to stop accounts from going below zero during volatile markets
- Data and payment security controls, including PCI DSS standards for cardholder data
- Multi-layer server systems and data protection practices
JustMarkets also restricts access in several countries because of local rules. The broker lists restrictions for Australia, Canada, the EU, the EEA, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and countries sanctioned by the EU. If you live in one of these places, check the current status before you attempt to register.
JustMarkets Account Types
JustMarkets offers four main account types: Standard, Standard Cent, Pro and Raw Spread. You can hold more than one account, which is useful if you run different strategies side by side.
| Account | Minimum deposit | Spreads from | Commission | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $10 | 0.3 pips (floating) | None | MT4 and MT5, leverage up to 1:3000 depending on entity |
| Standard Cent | $10 | 0.3 pips | None | MT4 only, account currency USC |
| Pro | $100 | 0.1 pips | None | Tighter spreads without commission |
| Raw Spread | $100 | 0 pips | $3 per side per lot | Suited to scalpers and intraday traders |
Standard account
The Standard account is built for low entry costs and simple pricing. It is available on MT4 and MT5 and covers Forex, indices, commodities, shares and crypto CFDs. With a $10 minimum deposit, it is one of the more accessible starting points in this price range.
Standard Cent account
The Standard Cent account is designed for smaller position sizes and for practising with lower financial exposure. It runs on MT4 only and uses USC as its account currency, so it suits traders who want to build experience before committing larger sums.
Pro account
The Pro account targets traders who want tighter spreads without paying commission. The minimum deposit is $100, and spreads start from 0.1 pips.
Raw Spread account
The Raw Spread account pairs very low raw spreads with a fixed commission of $3 per side per lot. Scalpers and intraday traders often compare this model against commission-free accounts, because the total cost per trade depends on trade size and frequency.
JustMarkets Fees, Spreads and Swaps
Your costs with JustMarkets depend on the account type, the instrument you trade and the entity you register under. The main costs are spreads, commissions on Raw Spread, and overnight swaps.
- Standard and Standard Cent: from 0.3 pips
- Pro: from 0.1 pips
- Raw Spread: from 0 pips, plus $3 per side per lot
Examples from our review data include EUR/USD at around 1 pip and XAU/USD at around 1.8 pips. Crypto spreads, such as BTC/USD, can be wider than average, so check the live quote before placing a trade. Swap rates vary by instrument and by whether you hold a long or short position, so review them for any position you plan to keep open overnight.
JustMarkets does not charge an inactivity fee. Accounts with no funds and no activity for 90 days or more may be archived. The broker says it does not charge deposit or withdrawal fees, but payment providers and banks may apply their own charges.
JustMarkets Trading Platforms and Tools
JustMarkets supports MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and its own mobile app, and copy trading is also available. Both MetaTrader platforms are familiar to many traders, and both support manual trading and automated strategies, including Expert Advisors (EAs).
MetaTrader 4
MT4 is valued for its simple layout and wide EA support. It covers CFDs on currency pairs, metals, energies, stock CFDs and major indices.
MetaTrader 5
MT5 offers a larger toolset, with more indicators, more timeframes and built-in features such as an economic calendar and news. Its market coverage is similar to MT4, including 100+ currency pairs.
Web trading and the mobile app
Web trading is useful if you prefer not to install software or want to trade from a shared device. MT5 web generally includes more built-in tools than MT4 web, such as an economic calendar, market depth, more order types and more timeframes. The JustMarkets app is available on iOS and Android and includes order management, charting, indicators and a macro events calendar.
JustMarkets Instruments and Leverage
JustMarkets focuses on the most actively traded CFD markets. Its list includes about 260 instruments across Forex, commodities, stock CFDs, indices and crypto CFDs. That is enough for many traders, but it is far smaller than the catalogues offered by some large multi-asset brokers, such as XM. Futures and bonds are not available.
Leverage depends on the regulator linked to your entity. Under European rules, retail clients can use up to 1:30 on major FX pairs, while professional clients may qualify for higher limits. International entities may offer leverage of up to 1:3000. Margin requirements change as you adjust leverage, so check the margin figures before you open a position.
JustMarkets Deposits and Withdrawals
Funding options include bank wire transfers, credit and debit cards, Skrill, Neteller and Perfect Money. Availability can depend on your country and entity, so check the cashier before you deposit. The minimum deposit is $10 on Standard and Standard Cent accounts and $100 on Pro and Raw Spread accounts.
The broker describes withdrawals as fast, with many methods processed almost instantly on its side. Requests are reviewed to help prevent unauthorised account access. Any delay is usually linked to the payment provider, so it helps to know the processing times of the method you use.
JustMarkets Bonuses and Promotions
The current highlighted offer is a 120% Forex Deposit Bonus. You can view the offer on the broker's site. Bonus terms, eligibility and conditions apply, and they can change, so read the rules carefully before depositing. Bonus funds usually carry withdrawal conditions, so check how they affect your ability to take profits out.
JustMarkets Customer Support and Education
JustMarkets offers 24/7 support in several languages, including English, Indonesian, Malaysian, Spanish, Portuguese and Vietnamese. Available channels include live chat, email, callback requests, phone and messaging apps. The Help Center covers common account and platform questions in useful detail.
For learning, the broker provides webinars, Forex articles, educational videos, a trading glossary and risk management guides. The research section includes a market overview, a Daily Forecast, an economic calendar and a currency converter. A demo account is available for practice. The educational material is helpful for beginners, but it is not as deep as a full trading academy.
Who JustMarkets Is For
JustMarkets can suit several types of trader. Beginners who want a low minimum deposit and a Cent account to practise with will find it accessible. MetaTrader users who want EA support, copy trading and flexible account options will also find it appealing. Experienced traders who want tighter pricing may consider the Pro or Raw Spread accounts, and Muslim traders may look for swap-free options where the broker offers them.
It is less suitable if you want a very large instrument list, platforms beyond MetaTrader, or long-term ownership of real stocks, since the broker mainly offers CFDs. If you compare options, you may also want to look at PU Prime or FBS, which we have reviewed separately.
CFD trading carries a high risk of losing money quickly, especially when leverage is involved. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose, and confirm the rules for your region before opening an account.
