Fortune Prime is an ECN-style CFD broker that operates under the name Fortune Prime Global (FPG). It offers forex, metals, indices, commodities and cryptocurrency CFDs, along with MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Our rating for the broker is 3.00 out of 5. This Fortune Prime review covers how the broker works, where it performs well, and which points deserve a closer look before you open an account.
Fortune Prime Global at a glance
According to the broker's background information, Fortune Prime began as a real estate business and later expanded into financial services. The broker describes its model as ECN, meaning orders are routed to the market with a focus on execution quality rather than acting as a typical market maker. That model is often chosen by active traders who care about pricing and speed, particularly for day trading and scalping.
Fortune Prime is best understood as a broker with two account tiers, a wide product list and a low entry point in terms of deposit. Our database lists a maximum leverage of 1:500 and a minimum deposit of $100, while spreads can start from 0.0 pips on some instruments. Those headline figures are only part of the picture, so the sections below look at each area in more detail.
Regulation and safety
Regulation is the first thing to check with any broker, and the Fortune Prime setup involves more than one legal entity. Fortune Prime Global Capital Pty Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) under AFSL no. 400364. Fortune Prime Limited is authorised and regulated by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) under number 700507.
The broker also lists another registration with a "Financial Services Authority" (licence no. 1753LLC2022). We were not able to confirm this from an independent source, so we would not rely on it without checking the regulator's own register. Before depositing, confirm which entity your account will be opened with, since the protections that apply depend on that entity.
On client protection, the broker states that it keeps client funds segregated with trusted financial institutions and that it has clear policies on compliance and risk. These are the broker's own statements, and we would recommend asking for the specific policies in writing before committing significant funds.
One point needs attention. The site's disclaimer says the services listed are not available to residents of Australia, among other countries, and it also says different rules may apply to Australian residents. If you live in Australia, check your eligibility directly with the broker before you open an account.
Account types and minimum deposit
Fortune Prime offers two main account types. The Standard account is the simpler option, with no commission and spreads that the broker states start from 0.2 pips. The ECN account is aimed at traders who want tighter pricing and accept a per-lot commission.
| Feature | Standard account | ECN account | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Commission | $0 | $3.50 per lot per side | |
| Spreads | From 0.2 pips (as stated) | From 0.0 pips (as stated) | |
| Minimum lot size | 0.01 | 0.01 | |
| Maximum leverage | Up to 1:500 (as stated) | Up to 1:500 |
The minimum deposit is where the sources we reviewed do not agree. Our database lists $100, while other descriptions of the broker give $50 for the Standard account and $200 for the ECN account. Because of this mismatch, confirm the current minimum for each account in the client portal before you fund it.
Account setup is online and paperless. You will need proof of identity and proof of address, such as a bank statement or utility bill in your name. A demo account with virtual funds is also available, which is useful for testing pricing and the platforms before you trade with real money.
Fees and trading costs
Fortune Prime is positioned as a low-cost broker, mainly because of its deposit minimum and pricing structure. The main cost points are:
- The Standard account uses spreads instead of commissions.
- The ECN account combines lower spreads with a commission of $3.50 per lot per side.
- Spreads are described by the broker as interbank-style, and some instruments can show 0.0 pip spreads.
- The broker states there are no fees to open, maintain or close an account, and no inactivity fee.
- The broker states there is no broker fee on deposits and withdrawals, although payment providers may charge their own fees.
Spreads move with market conditions, especially around news releases and at lower-liquidity times. When comparing costs, look at the total cost of a typical trade on the account you plan to use, including commission, rather than the headline spread alone.
Markets and leverage
The product list is broad. Forex includes more than 60 currency pairs, from majors to more niche pairs. Metals include gold and silver. Commodities include crude oil, gas and soft commodities such as cotton, coffee, sugar, orange juice and cocoa. Cryptocurrency CFDs include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot, Chainlink, Ripple and Stellar, and the broker states that no external wallet is needed for trading. Indices include AUS200, DE40, F40, UK100 and US500, among others.
Leverage of up to 1:500 is available on forex, commodities and indices. High leverage increases buying power with a smaller deposit, but it increases losses at the same speed. Traders using high margin should set position sizes and stop-loss rules before placing their first trade.
Trading platforms: MT4 and MT5
Fortune Prime supports MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Both platforms cover the basics most traders need, including charting, indicators, order types and position tracking. MT4 remains popular for its simplicity, while MT5 adds more tools for traders who want them. The broker does not offer its own proprietary platform, so you will need to be comfortable with MetaTrader to use it.
Deposits and withdrawals
Funding methods listed by the broker include bank transfer, credit card, eWallets (Skrill and Neteller) and crypto (USDT ERC-20, USDT TRC-20, BTC and ETH). Account base currencies include EUR, USD, CNY, PHP, IDR, MYR, THB, VND and USDT.
Withdrawals generally go back through the same route used to deposit. If you used more than one method, the credit card may be the main withdrawal option, as the broker states. Withdrawal requests are typically handled within 24 business hours of submission in the Client Portal, though delays are possible. Requests submitted at the weekend are processed on the next business day.
Bonuses and promotions
The current highlighted offer is a 100% Forex Deposit Bonus. Our data does not include the full terms, eligibility rules or withdrawal conditions, so we cannot assess how practical it is. Bonuses often carry conditions such as trading volume requirements, and these can affect when and how you are able to withdraw funds. Read the full terms before you accept any bonus, and do not let a bonus decide whether a broker is right for you.
Customer support
Customer support is available 24 hours a day, five days a week, through live chat, phone and email. Each client is also assigned a dedicated account manager, which can help with quick questions and account basics. Traders who value responsive support should test the live chat during their own trading hours before funding an account.
Who Fortune Prime is best for
Fortune Prime may suit traders who:
- Want ECN-style pricing with a commission-based account option.
- Prefer MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 and want a demo account to test them.
- Trade a wide range of CFD markets and want leverage up to 1:500 on forex, commodities and indices.
- Are comfortable verifying regulatory details and reading bonus terms carefully.
It may be less suitable for beginners who want extensive educational material, since the broker's training content is limited. It is also a weaker fit for traders who want a proprietary platform. If you are comparing options, you can look at our XM Group review or our FBS Inc review to see how other brokers handle similar account types and features.
Trading CFDs and leveraged products involves a high risk of losing money quickly, and it may not suit everyone. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
